NIDEK GYC-500 Vixi laser photocoagulator is used for the treatment of retinal pathologies. For the precision during the procedure the device is equipped with the preprogrammed scan patterns that enhance treatment efficiency and reduce patient chair time. The ophthalmologist chooses the preferred pattern based on the retinal pathology repositioning the spots and altering the distance between them. The number of sessions is reduced to a possible minimum as the procedure is very fast. Most importantly, the laser is as retina-sparing as possible.
